Sweet Silly Sisters!

The girls have been doing some pretty sweet and silly things lately, so I just had to share!

For starters we have been working on potty training Seville, and it is going pretty good...she is still having accidents here and there, but we are for sure moving in the right direction.  I probably should have jumped on this whole potty training bandwagon back when she was gung-ho about it 6+ months ago, but to be completely honest...I just wasn't ready!  Anyway, as we started to get into the whole process last week Hadley wanted to get out the "Once Upon a Potty" DVD for Seville that she remembers watching back when she was potty training.  Let me tell you folks, this DVD is a must have for every DVD collection!!  J/K!  But man, if you want to get a song stuck in your head about using the potty then this is the DVD for you!!  Let's just say that part of the song says "Pee pee goes there...poo poo goes there..."  Enough said!!

Well, Seville just loves the DVD!!  One evening she even decided that she wanted to watch it while sitting on her potty which she wanted to put on our bed for better viewing purposes!  What a hoot!
She was thrilled!
Here she is pointing at the video with proud big sister by her side!
What a funny site it was!  I can't imagine what she will think of these pictures when she is older!
The girls are also enjoying reading books together in Hadley's room before bedtime.
The flash was far too bright for Hadley!
What sweet girls!!  How did Scott and I ever get so lucky!!  We feel so blessed that they are so close and (for the most part) so sweet to one another!  I hope it continues for years and years to come!  When we switch Seville to a big girl bed we plan to get her a full so that the girls can sleep together when they want to!
Big hugs!
Hadley wanted me to take a picture of how she twirls her hair with her feet...she has been doing this since she was less than one year old!
Seville wanted to give it a try too, but she just isn't as limber!
One last shot (requested by Hadley) before bedtime!  What lucky girls to have such a wonderful daddy!!

Life is made of great friends and great memories...

...and we are lucky enough to have BOTH!!

We just got back from a weekend at the lake with our friends the Fisher's and the Imboden's! We had a blast and made tons of GREAT memories!!

Of course I took a billion pictures (I seem to be getting worse and worse about that), and I am not very good about narrowing them down, so here it goes!!

This is the only shot I was in, but here I am with all FIVE girls on Saturday morning...Hadley, Seville, Evie, Alyson and Gracyn!
It wasn't long before we needed a cookie break!
Best Buddies having a snack!
All the girls dunkin' their cookie sticks!
You are never too young for a friendly game of ladder golf!
Seville has great form already!
And look at the arm on Gracyn!
The big girls decided to race down the slip-n-slide while the little girls were napping!
Cutie pies!

I had to catch Jeremy napping!  It is his favorite "sport!"
When the little girls woke up they wanted to join the slip-n-slide fun!  Here is Seville looking ever so determined!
If your sister is in the way...just slide under her!  No problem!
Evie loved taking a few steps on the slide and then falling down!
She got the biggest kick out of it!
Drink break!
Little Miss Blue Eyes!
Funny girl!
Spraying down the slide with Uncle Jer!
Strike a pose!

Another blue eyed cutie!

Hose fun!

Little Buddies!
I am not sure where Seville and Gracyn learned to water, but I wouldn't hire them anytime soon.  Here they are watering a dead leaf...
...and then under the slip-n-slide (which had plenty of water under it already!)
Cute garden girl!
Snow cones have become our favorite afternoon snack at the lake.  The snow cone machine that my Dad got Hadley for Christmas is working out GREAT!

What a BEAUTIFUL girl!!  These are all straight out of camera, natural beauty pics!!

Daddy's Girl or a Girl and her bestest Daddy!!  You pick!
Kyle and Evie!
Kelly (and little baby Allie on the way!!)
Look at those eyelashes...they get them from their daddy!
Seville loves to swing on the dock...can you tell!
Ring Around the Rosie...water style!
Seville gets such a kick out of seeing her daddy jump in the water!
The daddies and their BIG girls!
Sweet kisses for mommy! (Gracyn and Kristi)
Cute shot #1 (Daddy and his BIG girl!)
The little girls love pushing each other on the dock swing!
I see you Gracyn!
Safety FIRST!
The daddies and the big girls decided to swim out to the bouey!
Hadley swimming back from the bouey with her freestyle stroke!
Kyle and Evie!
Even without the master chefs, Susie and Jim, we were pretty proud of ourselves for putting together an excellent fish taco dinner!!
Kristi, Kyle, Kelly and Evie!
Jeremy, Seville and Scott!
Hadley and Alyson!
Goin' on a Mayfly hunt...
...gonna catch a big one!!  (FYI...the Mayflies were out in swarms this weekend, but the little girls didn't mind at all!  At one point they were going after them with a fly swatter and a water gun!)  Too funny!
Jeremy's early evening siesta while Kristi and I played a friendly game of ladder golf!!
Scott decided to make a fire in the fire pit after the little girls went to bed, and it was a lot of fun!

The big girls loved dancing around the fire!
It felt so nice to sit by the fire that we decided to lay out beside it for a bit!  Oh, I forgot...I am in this picture too!!  That means I made it into two shots this weekend!  This brought back such great memories of camping!
Hadley, Alyson and I all snuggled up!!  It was kind of chilly, so the fire felt so good!
We started today by tubing over to the Schwindt's new lake house!  Kristi rode with Hadley and Alyson on the way there!

Gracyn helped Uncle Scott drive the boat!
Evie was ever so stylin' in her sunglasses!
Then Evie decided to take a turn driving!
We picked up Amy and Cooper and went out for another ride!
Cute shot #2 (Daddy and his little girl!)
Amy with the 5 year olds!
NO HANDS!
The little girls snuggling with Kristi!

Coop!
Aaron doing the "Scott Skinner Special" as he called it.  I love Amy in the background with the kids.  I wish you could zoom in to see the look on her face.  I did and it is priceless!
Scott doing the "Scott Special!"
Everyone swimming off the Schwindt's new dock!
Evie getting ready to ride the tube back home!
Little Peep!  (aka Corinne!)
Kyle and Evie getting ready for Evie's first tube ride!
She loved it and kept asking to go faster!
She even did "no hands" like the big girls!
Sydney, as usual, loves all things involving the lake!  Here she is riding on the boat!
