Hippity Hop...What an Easter Day!

Once again I am so far behind with the blog!  I have been quite the blog slacker the past few weeks, but we have been very busy!  A certain few family members even got on me tonight for not posting in soooo long (yes, you know who your are, but I don't mind!)  I told them I didn't even know where to start because I am so far behind, but I decided to just start with the most recent and go backwards, so expect some more updates this week (maybe...hopefully!)

We had a very busy and very fun Easter this year!  Thankfully the Easter Bunny realized that our girls have plenty of "things" and didn't go overboard this year!   Thank you Easter Bunny from the bottom of my heart and my overflowing basement full of toys and pantry full of snacks!  He must know that I am a clean freak and needed a bit of a break from all of the holiday clutter!

He did leave the girls some new dress-up shoes and stuffed their basket full of goodies!
The baskets included new bug catchers/holders, girly headphones, sunglasses, fake fingernails, walkie talkies and of course CANDY!
I am not sure about the rest of you, but we have the most creative Easter Bunny.  He goes to such great lengths to hide eggs for the girls.  Some of them are pretty silly too...
He must know how much Seville loves changing baby diapers right now!

Can you believe he made these towers?  There were eggs on top and inside!
And he even built this castle!  WOW!  He must have an architecture degree! ;)
The girls enjoyed all of the fun hiding places when they woke up Sunday morning!

The Easter Bunny even hid some in the bathroom!
Hadley was very good about making sure Seville got to find some of the eggs!

New shades just like Daddy! (remember the white ones he got for x-mas...she always tells him he is stylin' when he wears them!  Now she is stylin' too!
The girls in their new dress-up shoes!
After we hunted at home we all got ready and headed to Gam and Grampa's church.  They were having an outside hunt this year and it was burrr COLD!!
The kids were divided up by age!
I didn't plan on the girls wearing these dresses for Easter, but then I decided they looked like Easter eggs and they should wear them!
Seville is VERY good at finding eggs, and you would have thought she was in the wrong age group even though she just turned two!  She has been practicing for many weeks at Grandma Sue Sue's!

Hadley knew exactly what to do as well!

She was very excited about this one, but I am not sure why!

Here they are listening to the pastor during children's church.
After church we headed over to Grandma Sue Sue and Grandpa Jim's for the Fillingham Family Easter Eggstavaganza!  Great Grandma Wilda and Uncle Ron made it this time too!
Here is Grandma Wilda with her grandkids and great grandkids!
We tried to get a family shot, but it didn't really work.  This was the best one, but you can't even see Seville!  Bummer!
Kids table at lunch (before we added about four more kids!)
A very small group of cousins getting ready for the hunt...we were missing a lot of people on Easter this year!
Seville and Hadley were great hunters again!

After Grandma Sue Sue and Grandpa Jim's we headed home for naps and then met up with Grandpa John and Grandma Pat for dinner!   It was a busy but fabulous day!

More to come later this week on egg dying, water park fun, and more!

Melts My Heart...Baby Zaid Sneak Peek!

As the mom of two girls I have often wondered if I could love a boy as much as my girls, well let me tell you...sweet Baby Zaid just melts my heart! Baby Zaid is the newest addition to my dear friend Aundria's family. They also have a son named Laith who is about to turn three and who is the best big brother in the world! Zaid was born on February 27th, and it took us a few weeks to arrange his newborn session, but he couldn't have been any sweeter! We started off with some sleeping pictures on my stool! He is so precious!

I had to get a close up of Zaid's lips because I will never forget the moment his daddy called to tell me Zaid had arrived. He told me all of the normal information and then explained that he had huge, beautiful lips! Watch out ladies!
And have I ever mentioned how much I love baby feet...
I couldn't resist posting the yawning picture...it is truly one of my favorites. I just love his wrinkled up nose and cute expression!
As you can tell, after the pictures on top of the stool we couldn't get Zaid back to sleep, but that is probably because he didn't want us to miss his amazing eyes! It is hard to believe he was only 2.5 weeks old when these were taken!
I had a basket that I couldn't wait to put Zaid in, but as it turned out he was a little bigger than the basket. I ended up doing some close-ups instead and I just love this one. I love the texture of the basket against his sweet baby face!
Here he is in Mama's arms!
One last one of him staring up at his gorgeous mommy! You can tell how much he loves her already!
Aundria, I know you have been waiting awhile for this sneak peak! I hope these can hold you over until I get to the rest of them this weekend! Thank you so much for letting me capture your sweet little boy! It was such a fun morning! I can't wait to do it again and get some cute brother shots! Love ya bunches!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Seville! (Part 2)

On Seville's actual birthday we had a little party for her at Monkey Buziness, but first we had to get everything ready and give her her presents!

The theme for Seville's party was purses, so the night before Hadley helped me stuff these Tinkerbell purses with a few goodies for the girls attending the party!
Hadley had also picked out a very special present for Seville ALL BY HERSELF and she wanted to wrap it ALL BY HERSELF!  This was her solution...
The moment Seville woke up Hadley couldn't wait for her to open her gifts.  It truly was like Christmas morning!
Hadley wrote this special note for Seville on her gift!
When we were at the toy store the week before we told Hadley she could pick out a gift for Seville, but it is really hard having a second girl and finding something special.  Before I knew it Hadley was screaming "mommy, we have to get her this!" and she pointed down the aisle to this puppet theater.  I had never seen one of these before and thought it was so cute, and I also thought it was something our girls might actually use!  Needless to say...Seville loves it!  I am so proud of Hadley for picking this out all on her own!

Mommy and Daddy got Seville a little ATV so she can keep up with the neighborhood kids this summer...she LOVES it too!
For breakfast Daddy picked out a special star doughnut for the birthday girl!

At 10:30 we met our friends Kelly, Kyle and Evie, as well as Kristi, Jeremy, Alyson and Gracyn at Monkey Buziness.
I'm not sure why Scott looks scared in this picture, but Seville was sure having fun!

Trying to be like big sis!

Aunt Kristi with Gracyn and Seville!
Evie LOVED Monkey Buziness!
Ball hogs!
Around lunch time we ordered pizza and soda!
The bestest friends in the whole wide world!
Seville a.k.a Tarzan!  I can't believe she can hold on to a rope swing like that!
After we played we headed out into the mall area for cake and presents!
I think Seville liked the fact that her cake was decorated with candy!

Cake time!

Kelly, Kyle and Evie got Seville the cutest dress and she had to put it on right away!
Literally she has the dress on in this next picture.  Most 2 year olds probably don't like getting clothes, but Seville actually does!   Here her and Gracyn were playing in the broken photo booth!  I wish it was working.  That would have been cute!
On Monday Seville got her present from Ms. Gail, our beyond awesome and totally beloved daycare provider who we have gone to now for 4.5 years!  Gail got her a baby swing because her and Gracyn are always putting their dolls in the real baby swing at Gail's house!
As you can see Seville loves it!
Hadley and her played with it all night, but she made sure Hadley knew it was hers!  "MINE!"

Now this next picture is for Kristi.  She had to travel for work last week and one night we had Alyson stay with us.  Jeremy made sure he helped her pack the essentials, but then she finished packing on her own.  It is amazing what four years olds can pack.  Hadley does the same thing!  It just had me in stitches, and I had to text Kristi the contents of the bag.  Here is a short list: Zoe, shoes, three purses, new package of chapstick, cheerleader skirt, Hannah Montana outfit, seashells, flashlight, the Bible, jewelry, and much, much more!
Okay, I think I am a little caught up now!  PHEW!!  Good night!
