A really great weekend...

Hello everyone! We've had a great weekend, and I just wanted to drop in real quick and share a few pictures. On Friday, Scott and I took our annual day off to go shopping. This has been a tradition since we had the girls and one that we really enjoy! We didn't seem to have as much time this year since Hadley needed to be picked-up at 4:30 and our cul-de-sac holiday party was that night, but it was a GREAT day, and we got pretty much everything left on our list!

Friday night Francesca came over to babysit while we went to the holiday party! Hadley was beyond excited about this and talked about it ALL week! I know she had a great time! We had a great time as well! Amy and Aaron, our next door neighbors, were the hosts this year and they could never have a dull party, so we were in for some excitement and entertainment this year. Amy took some pictures, so I will just have to wait for those because I think pictures are the only thing that can do the stories justice! Let's just say mustaches, oranges, hot dogs and panty hose have never been so fun! Well, now I've got you thinking, don't I?

Real quick, here are a few pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses that I forgot to post last week. For those of you who know me, you know that I can't put my girls in frilly dresses, so this is about as frilly as I get! Modern party dresses are what you could call them I guess! I thought they looked real cute!

On Saturday we got to go with the Imbodens for the second year in a row to Kristi's work's Children's Holiday Celebration. It is such a great time, and we are so thankful to her for inviting us again! The kids get to play games, make crafts, decorate cookies and most importantly see Santa!

Here is Hadley playing a snowball toss game! Seville got to play this year too!
They all won a prize for playing and Seville picked sunglasses!
Then the girls decorated cookies!
Seville thought she was real big this year getting to decorate her own!
She loved licking off the icing the most!
The girls love sitting in the bean bags and eating their cookies!
On the camera this looked like a cute Seville smile, but it isn't...owell!
I just couldn't get her to look at me!
This is one of my favorites!
The big girls were making faces and could see themselves on a big screen above!
I am not sure why Seville doesn't enjoy our bean bag at home as much as she was enjoying these! She looks pretty comfortable if you ask me!
I had to take this picture of her looking through the window!
Two cutie pies!
Hello blue eyes!
She was playing on the stairs and we couldn't get her to stop! You would have thought it was a jungle gym, but knowing Seville, that doesn't surprise us!
My cute big girl! Can you believe she starts kindergarten next year!
Ta da...our picture with Santa! No one is screaming! I call that a success!
Hadley and Alyson with Santa...too cute! Hadley told him she wanted a dance outfit for her tiger. Hummm...
Last night we finished up some shopping and Hadley thought Sydney needed an outfit! I talked her out of the Santa outfit (I am sure Sydney appreciates it) and instead we got her a t-shirt with a scarf printed on it! She has been wearing it ever since! Maybe that will help her not shed as much...I can only hope!
Have a great week everyone! We are very busy and have lots of exciting things going on including celebrating with the Imbodens, celebrating with the Fillinghams, celebrating with my dad's side of the family and seeing the Rockettes! I will post pictures as I can! I hope everyone enjoys their celebrations as well! I know it is going to be a busy week for most families!

Great pictures!!! I love the socks/tights that the girls' were wearing! Too cute!!! Sometimes I wish I had a little girl so I could dress her all girlie-like...well, not frilly necessarily, but definitely girly! Boys are definitely not as exciting to dress!
