The girls have been doing some pretty sweet and silly things lately, so I just had to share!
For starters we have been working on potty training Seville, and it is going pretty good...she is still having accidents here and there, but we are for sure moving in the right direction. I probably should have jumped on this whole potty training bandwagon back when she was gung-ho about it 6+ months ago, but to be completely honest...I just wasn't ready! Anyway, as we started to get into the whole process last week Hadley wanted to get out the "Once Upon a Potty" DVD for Seville that she remembers watching back when she was potty training. Let me tell you folks, this DVD is a must have for every DVD collection!! J/K! But man, if you want to get a song stuck in your head about using the potty then this is the DVD for you!! Let's just say that part of the song says "Pee pee goes there...poo poo goes there..." Enough said!!
Well, Seville just loves the DVD!! One evening she even decided that she wanted to watch it while sitting on her potty which she wanted to put on our bed for better viewing purposes! What a hoot!
She was thrilled!
Here she is pointing at the video with proud big sister by her side!
What a funny site it was! I can't imagine what she will think of these pictures when she is older!
The girls are also enjoying reading books together in Hadley's room before bedtime.
The flash was far too bright for Hadley!
What sweet girls!! How did Scott and I ever get so lucky!! We feel so blessed that they are so close and (for the most part) so sweet to one another! I hope it continues for years and years to come! When we switch Seville to a big girl bed we plan to get her a full so that the girls can sleep together when they want to!
Big hugs!
Hadley wanted me to take a picture of how she twirls her hair with her feet...she has been doing this since she was less than one year old!
Seville wanted to give it a try too, but she just isn't as limber!
One last shot (requested by Hadley) before bedtime! What lucky girls to have such a wonderful daddy!!
