Christmas Eve

Baby steps...that is what I keep telling myself...baby steps! The amount of pictures I haven't gotten around to posting this year is monumental! I have to find a better way, and I have been thinking through some options, but for now...baby steps!

Here is a little peek at our Christmas Eve! These are all taken at home after we got back safe and sound from dinner and church. About 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve it started snowing and it didn't stop until late Saturday night! I haven't seen this much snow in Kansas City since I was a little girl. There are many spots in our yard with 2+ feet of snow! It is amazing! We actually got stuck on Christmas Eve in the church parking lot and several people had to push us out, but we made it home and continued with all of our festivities!

Hadley with our reindeer food that Mrs. Kerri made for us!
Seville putting the reindeer food on the fireplace!
All set for Santa and the reindeer!
Gammy and Grampa reindeers! They always spend the night on Christmas Eve!
Treats for Santa and the reindeers!
Hadley writing her letter to Santa!
Seville "writing" her letter to Santa!

"Dear Santa, I want a Chrissa and a iPod and a Zhu Zhu pet. Please bring me a surprise. I love you. From Hadley"
"Dear Christmas Clause, I want a pink baby and a hippopotamus! I love you! Love, Seville"...or at least that is what I think she was trying to write!
Seville putting her letter on the fireplace!
Seville saying goodbye to Elfie! On Christmas Eve he returns to Santa at the North Pole and stays there until next Thanksgiving!
Hadley saying her good-byes! Elfie was so much fun to have around. I was tearing up as they said good-bye to him. They really enjoyed this tradition!
Good night snuggles from Gammy and Grampa!

More to come! Stay tuned!
