Why am I so bad at updating this lately...

Well...I admit it! I am officially really bad at updating this blog. Even with the pictures off my camera I can't seem to find the time! However, last night we FINALLY got up to Hadley's old dance studio to pick up her recital pictures (which turned out really cute BTW...I need to find a way to scan them in so you all can see!) and it reminded me that I have never posted her recital pics from MAY!!! UGH!! So here they are (better late than never)...I posted all of them in a slideshow (which are NOT narrowed down) and for those of you who don't want to bother looking through all of them I posted my favs below! Hadley did very good and was not scared to go out on stage at all! Dancing is definitley Hadley's thing!! She just loves it! She starts at her new studio tomorrow!

Seconds before going on stage at rehearsal...not scared ONE BIT!!

Outside auditorium on recital night!

Ballerina buddies on recital night!

Posing before class pictures! They even got to wear real make-up!

Also, remember when I told you that a hot air balloon landed on our street! Well, it did and I am finally posting the pics to prove it! It was such a neat experience. It literally landed five houses from us right on the neighborhood street. The street quickly became so crowded with cars and neighbors that you couldn't even get by. The owner of the balloon was even nice enough to let all of the kids get in the basket. It just so happened that my Mom, Jon and the Imboden's were at our house, so they all got to see it too. I can't imagine that will ever happen again...I don't think they really meant to land in the middle of a neighborhood that close to a house. Also, for those of you who don't know, Scott took me on a hot air balloon ride many years ago. It was a surprise and one that I will always remember. It would be fun to go again someday! If you have never been I would definitley recommend it!

Okay, well now I just need to find the time to get the pics off my camera from the past month or so (especially the 4th of July) and then you guys will be all updated! Stay tuned...but don't hold your breath! We are going into a busy weekend filled with a wedding, family reunion, etc.!
